Hi there!

I’m Jennifer.

I’m a wife, mom, former teacher, retired home school teacher and recent empty nester.  I’ve been a Christian my whole life and Catholic for part of it.

I’ve spent a good chunk of my life believing that I was not enough. I’ve poured a lot of energy into earning the approval of just about everyone and too much time building my resumes (both professional and spiritual) in order to impress others and earn God’s blessing.

In 2008, I faced something I did not think I would survive. In many ways - I didn’t. Grief and heartache consumed me, but like the glaciers moving over the earth, it exposed something brand new and completely unexpected.

Lies—like not being enough—are so powerful they can keep us stuck in the belief that there is always something we need to prove or earn. Here’s the thing: there isn’t.

This is a space for those who are tired of feeling like they are never enough. It is space for those feeling worn out by constant comparison and feeling like they never measure up. It is a space where I will share some of the lessons I lived, honest insight, personal stories and encouragement.

I’m glad you are here.

Cheers,
Jennifer
